O.C.M.S. Big Iron World Tour: Back to the RootsOld Crow Medicine ShowSunday, March 22Show: 8 pm | Doors: 7 pmThe Orange PeelAges 18+Old Crow Medicine Show will return to rooms where it all began this spring with the O.C.M.S. Big Iron World Tour: Back to the Roots—a series of intimate shows celebrating the band’s earliest recordings and some of the places where those songs first took shape.
On this tour, the band will perform their first two label releases—O.C.M.S. and Big Iron World—in their entirety. The setlists will trace the foundation of Old Crow’s catalog, played in smaller venues where the band first stopped in the early days, many of which they haven’t returned to in years.
The performances will be presented in a more stripped-down configuration, emphasizing the songs themselves—built to carry their weight without spectacle, production tricks, or distance from the audience. It’s a return to closeness: songs played up close, in rooms where every word and harmony matters.
Together, the Back to the Roots tour and the vinyl releases reflect a band that has helped define the modernAmerican roots movement—and continues to lead it. By returning to these songs, these rooms, and this way of playing, Old Crow Medicine Show underscores what they’ve always done best: push tradition forward, expand the reach of string-band and folk music, and remind audiences that songs built with care and conviction can last, travel, and keep finding new life.
English singer-songwriter and ex-Roger McGuinn sideman plays his folky-pop originals along with select covers from the likes of Neil Finn, Lennon & McCartney, Neil Young, The Byrds etc.Steve will be joined by his golden-voiced daughter, Emma and guitarist Steve Kirkland.
Join us on Sunday, March 22 for our next installment of our experimental music series, Ground Sound. This week our artists are Lyle deVitry and Dustin Furlow. Music starts at 7pm but get there earlier if you want to snag a seat. $10-$15 suggested donation, all of which goes to the artists.

The immersive concert-style theater show chronicles the amazing journey shared by the folk-rock duo, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. It tells the story from their humble beginnings as Tom & Jerry to their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the ‘60’s to their dramatic split in 1970. It culminates with the famous “The Concert in Central Park” reunion in 1981 with more than half a million fans in attendance.
With more than 100 million album sales since 1965, Simon & Garfunkel’s perfect harmonies and songs that poignantly captured the times made them one of the most successful folk-rock duos of all time. Over the years, they received 10 Grammy Awards and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. In 1977, their “Bridge Over Troubled Water” album was nominated at the Brit Awards for Best International Album. In 2003, Simon and Garfunkel were awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and the following year saw their “The Sound of Silence” awarded a Grammy Hall of Fame Award.

Seeing Impressionism Clearly: Camille Pissarro and The Honest Eye.
Step into the origins of Impressionism through the work of Camille Pissarro—often called the first Impressionist. Born in St. Thomas to French Jewish parents and shaped by experiences across South America and Paris, Pissarro brought a uniquely global and human perspective to modern painting. On this Artful Journey to the Denver Art Museum, we’ll explore how his background informed his luminous landscapes, intimate city scenes, still lifes, and portrayals of everyday life, revealing Impressionism not as a fleeting style, but as a deeply thoughtful way of seeing the world.

MountainTrue staff and volunteers spend significant time and resources removing nonnative invasive plants along streams and lake shorelines to protect water quality and ensure that the native vegetation stays healthy.
