Since the day it was announced, western North Carolinians and music lovers nationwide have been anxiously awaiting the kick off of the innaugural Strings & Suds Festival, as have WNCW friends, fans and staff members. Now, the wait is over - the festivities begin on Friday, August 23 at 7pm at The Pisgah Brewing Company in Black Mountain, North Carolina. Yes please.
Friday Lineup - Taproom Stage:
Danny Burns, Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen, and Ashley Heath and her Heathens
Saturday Lineup - Taproom and Outdoor Stage:
The Mavericks, Donna The Buffalo, Junior Brown, Sierra Hull and Jim Lauderdale - Outdoor Stage. Indoors on Saturday, it's East of Monroe, Yarn, Sarah Shook & The Disarmers, and a Late Night Jam LIVE at the Taproom Stage.
Strings & Suds at Pisgah - Beautiful venue. Fantastic lineup. Nice people. And, for your sustenance and general well being, amazing food trucks will be on site cookin' up a mess of goodness including Grateful Roots LLC and Roots Down trucks. Craft beer from Pisgah will be on tap. Craft vendors include: Honeycreek Pottery, Stoned Beautiful, Humble Bumble Beads, ARTeries Mobile Boutique, Shady Daze Hats, Feathers, Fate, & Steel Boutique, Blue Lotus Design Studios, and Grift Town Goods - Grift Town Goods will "live screen print" Strings & Suds t-shirts on demand. And, we'll be there too! WNCW's Joe Kendrick and Joe Greene will emcee at the festival, and we'll have trusty WNCW Tent Reps ready to say hello and give you some swag. Word has it some folks with the last name "Robertson" will be at the event as well. Come out and enjoy live music, under the stars, in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
