Since 2012, The Dirty Doors have faithfully recreated the magic of a Doors concert in sound and stage presence with all the classic hits like “Light My Fire,” “Riders On The Storm,” “Hello, I Love You,” and “L.A. Woman.”

MODELFACE COMEDY PRESENTS: JOE ZIMMERMAN

Modelface Comedy Club brings the best comedians from all over the country to Asheville. We are so excited to welcome back Joe Zimmerman to The Grey Eagle!

Known for his inventive writing style and playful persona, Joe grew up in Morgantown, West Virginia, and started his comedy career in North Carolina after graduating Davidson College. In 2012, he moved to New York City, which quickly led to appearances on The Late Late Show and John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show, and his resume has since grown to include The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Conan on TBS, Last Comic Standing, his own Comedy Central Half Hour.

Joe’s first solo album Smiling at Wolves reached number two on iTunes, and Paste Magazine named him one of 10 best comedians from the south. His second album, Innocence, is played regularly on Sirius XM radio, and in 2019 he recorded a Dry Bar special with 1.5 million views on YouTube.

His first one-hour special, Cult Classic, came out on Hulu in 2023. It was directed by Nate Bargatze, filmed live at The Grey Eagle in Asheville, and The Comedy Bureau called it “one of the best specials of the year”.

Joe is also a writer, having contributed humor pieces to The New Yorker and The New York Times.

A Evening of Music and Storytelling

Michael Reno Harrell is an award winning songwriter, a published author, a nationally known storyteller and visual artist. He’s from the Southern Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina where all those things are as much a part of life as breathing. Michael’s talents have taken him to forty-four states and several foreign countries over his over fifty plus year career.

His work is based on life experiences that reflect the culture of his mountain roots, which go back eight generations. Michael’s stories, songs and artworks reflect not only the southern experience, but also American’s story.

Singer and composer Gabrielle Cavassa is a five-star Blue Note Records artist. Her collaboration with renowned saxophonist Joshua Redman on his critically acclaimed 2023 record ‘where are we’ ushered her to stardom. Cavassa is hailed as “a young singer with a deep, rich, and fragile voice…a star in the making.” (Downbeat).

Four couples. One elegant dinner party. A gunshot, a missing host, and a house full of half-truths.

All throughout September, guests are invited to join the mountain’s naturalists as they count and celebrate the annual spectacle of fall raptor migration. Participants can observe the migration from viewing locations on Linville Peak (across the Mile High Swinging Bridge) and Half Moon Overlook (the first major overlook when entering the park). Included with admission.

The word craft-itarianism was coined by 2026 Center for Craft Curatorial Fellow Alyssa Velazquez to name artistic projects that generate employment, raise awareness, or offer therapeutic support through craft. These programs provide a space where people affected by addiction, incarceration, and gun violence can find solidarity while learning a skill.

Craft-itarianism: Community Action Through Craft celebrates nonprofits and artists who believe in—and actively practice—the power of craft to support and empower individuals and communities.

This exhibition was curated by 2026 Center for Craft Curatorial Fellow Alyssa Velazquez. Launched in 2017, the Curatorial Fellowship supports emerging curators exploring new ideas about craft with mentorship, professional development, and a $5,000 honorarium to realize an exhibition.

Food Programs: Greer Farmers Market is proud to be a SNAP Retailer and Healthy Bucks site. We have a Healthy Kids/POP Club Program where we offer produce vouchers and education for children at the market. We encourage anyone wanting to utilize these programs to join us during our market dates.

Our market serves a diverse shopper base consisting of young families, professionals, and seniors. The Greer Farmers Market is a non-profit 501c3 farmers market in the State of South Carolina. Our mission is to support local farmers, bakers, and hand-made businesses by providing an accessible platform to sell in-season items directly to Greer’s residents and visitors.

Screening award-winning, independent films from local, national and international filmmakers and artists! Categories include Animation, Experimental, Short Drama, Documentary, Feature, Anti-war, AI, plus Experimental Music and a special Asheville category!
Kickoff begins Friday with a full-length feature film winner and continues Saturday and Sunday with back-to-back films and performances throughout the day.

An array of our house-brewed German-style and fall seasonal beers will be on tap, with commemorative steins and themed merch available for purchase. Save room for schnitzel, brats, pretzels and other festy fare while enjoying a wide range of live music. They'll also host a Children's Activities tent once again early afternoon on Saturday.
