NICK SHOULDERS
Refugia Blues, the fifth album from songwriter Nick Shoulders, is a record of big ideas and small, intimate moments. Rooted in the acoustic stylings of Southern traditional music, it finds the Arkansas native turning off his amp and stepping up to a ribbon microphone as a solo performer, singing in a voice that’s equal parts country croon, Appalachian yodel, and high-lonesome field holler. Shoulders’ interpretation of American roots music has always been more progressive and punky than the trucks-and-beers conservatism that passes for modern-day country, and Refugia Blues offers songs about climate collapse, radical anthropology, and generative disruption. It balances the macro with the micro, too, making room for love songs and personal topics, packaging humor alongside heavy insights. At once academic and accessible, Refugia Blues isn’t just a deep dive into southernness, but also into Shoulders himself. This is a raw, resolute version of American country music, stacked high with songs that go down easy but linger in the minds of those willing to invest the time.

Who doesn’t want to add a little color to their jewelry, or maybe your own patterns and images?

This class focuses on the basics of my technique for drawing on metal with colored pencils. Learn to add color and excitement to your work with my special technique. During this class you should finish at least one pendant of your own design and several sample pieces.

Music lovers, this one’s for you! Join us in the taproom every Friday at 6:00pm for Singo — the music bingo game that brings the party. From pop hits to rock classics, you’ll hear it, match it, and win it. It’s free to play, there are prizes up for grabs and you can jump in throughout the night.

Join songwriter Eliza Lynn and instrumentalist Mike Alexander for a concert of original gospel songs written during Eliza’s years of graduate theological study. The evening will also include familiar sing-alongs and many acoustic instruments: guitar, banjo, upright bass, dobro and more. Songwriter and poet Chelsea Fraser will be featured as a special guest!

Meet the Musicians: Eliza Lynn and Mike Alexander
Eliza Lynn is a folk, blues, and gospel songwriter with a “big, room-filling voice” and a sound rooted in blues, old-time country folk, and soul. Since releasing her debut album, Frisky or Fair (2005), Eliza has recorded five albums, including The Weary Wake Up (2007) at Echo Mountain, Haven (2009), Together (2011), and Goodbye Nashville (2014), recorded in Scotland. Her career has also taken her to Abbey Road Studios in London and the Belfast-Nashville Songwriting Festival. Now based in Greenville, South Carolina, Eliza is recording a new gospel album with her longtime musical collaborator and husband, Mike Alexander, and producer Chris Rosser at Hollow Reed Studio in Asheville, with an anticipated fall 2026 release.

Supernova isn't just another tribute band going through the motions. This six-piece outfit is obsessed with recreating the energy, intensity, and swagger of a live Oasis performance. From the opening chords of "Rock 'n' Roll Star" to the final notes of "Champagne Supernova," every show is crafted to deliver the full Oasis experience—loud, raw, and unapologetic rock and roll.

Most fans never got the chance to see Oasis in their prime—before the massive stadiums, when they were still the scrappy Manchester lads playing clubs and theaters with something to prove. Supernova exists to give you that experience: an intimate, high-energy Oasis show where you can feel the music in your chest and sing every word at the top of your lungs. Whether you've been a fan since "Definitely Maybe" or just discovered them recently, Supernova delivers the closest thing to a real Oasis gig you'll find on this side of the Atlantic.

When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a crime, she hides out in the last place anyone would look — a convent. Suddenly, the sequins are swapped for habits, and the nightclub turns into a nave. But when Deloris brings her unholy amount of soul to the choir loft, heaven gets a whole new groove.
