The Jazz Showcase is curated by esteemed pianist, scholar, and UNC Asheville music professor Dr. Bill Bares; this showcase series is dedicated to bringing the region’s finest jazz musicians and most compelling sounds to our stage in a true listening room experience.

Thirty years ago, RENT ignited Broadway like a lightning bolt — a raw, raucous, Pulitzer Prize–winning love letter that gave voice to the misfits, the rebels, the ones who loved without permission. Three decades later, its fire still burns.

In the East Village, a patchwork of outsiders fight to create and survive in a city that’s forgotten them. They turn struggle into art and fear into defiance. Through loss, love, and the noise of the city, they find strength together in the face of adversity.

Platinum-selling American pop-rock artist Augustana emerged as one of the defining voices of mid-2000s alternative rock with their 2005 debut All the Stars and Boulevards.

Hosted by 19-time GRAMMY winner Béla Fleck, this concert is the culmination of our renowned banjo camp.

Celebrated faculty will join Béla and other special guests for a unique performance displaying the wonderful diversity of the banjo.

The word craft-itarianism was coined by 2026 Center for Craft Curatorial Fellow Alyssa Velazquez to name artistic projects that generate employment, raise awareness, or offer therapeutic support through craft. These programs provide a space where people affected by addiction, incarceration, and gun violence can find solidarity while learning a skill.

Craft-itarianism: Community Action Through Craft celebrates nonprofits and artists who believe in—and actively practice—the power of craft to support and empower individuals and communities.

This exhibition was curated by 2026 Center for Craft Curatorial Fellow Alyssa Velazquez. Launched in 2017, the Curatorial Fellowship supports emerging curators exploring new ideas about craft with mentorship, professional development, and a $5,000 honorarium to realize an exhibition.

Food Programs: Greer Farmers Market is proud to be a SNAP Retailer and Healthy Bucks site. We have a Healthy Kids/POP Club Program where we offer produce vouchers and education for children at the market. We encourage anyone wanting to utilize these programs to join us during our market dates.

All year access to fresh local foods and community. The Greer Farmers Market has been an integral part of Downtown Greer since 2015. Our market serves a diverse shopper base consisting of young families, professionals, and seniors. The Greer Farmers Market is a non-profit 501c3 farmers market in the State of South Carolina. Our mission is to support local farmers, bakers, and hand-made businesses by providing an accessible platform to sell in-season items directly to Greer’s residents and visitors.

The Greenville Jazz Collective (GJC) preserves and promotes jazz in Upstate South Carolina. GJC stewards this important American art form through the promotion of live performance to support our local musicians, as well as educational events and programs to nurture the next generation of jazz musicians.
