The Jazz Showcase is curated by esteemed pianist, scholar, and UNC Asheville music professor Dr. Bill Bares; this showcase series is dedicated to bringing the region’s finest jazz musicians and most compelling sounds to our stage in a true listening room experience.
Rocky Horror has been a sensation for over 50 years. First as a Stage Show, then as a Movie and now part of a Live Music review. Sort of Damocles brings the SONGS of Rocky Horror to the forefront and presents these gems + other glam rock classics in a new unique way.
In addition to the hits like “Dammit Janet” and “Time Warp”, Sort of Damocles will play all the songs from the movie including deep cuts and deleted tracks. They will weave in songs from Meatloaf, Bowie, and T. Rex, giving you a full 70's glam rock experience. For the theatre fans, they will also sprinkle in a bit of Hedwig and Little Shop like the soundtrack to a piece of cult musical fan fiction!
This is being presented by an All-Star lineup of Asheville musicians featuring members of Dr. Bacon, Andrew Thelston Band, Carpal Tullar, Lower Peaks, Fancy & The Gentleman, Ska City and more!!
Americana duo Chatham Rabbits pull from their distinctive NC musical influences to create a bright alternative sound filled with nods to old time and string band music.

Guten Tag! Join Fireforge for their 9th annual Oktoberfest Weekend in downtown Greenville September 25-27! Don your lederhosen, dirndl - or simply a tasty pretzel necklace - and be ready for Feats of Strength competitions like Stein-Hoisting and more!
An array of our house-brewed German-style and fall seasonal beers will be on tap, with commemorative steins and themed merch available for purchase. Save room for schnitzel, brats, pretzels and other festy fare while enjoying a wide range of live music. They'll also host a Children's Activities tent once again early afternoon on Saturday.
