Every first and Thursday of the month, we welcome all old time musicians to come hang out and play at Leveller! This is an intermediate level jam, and we'll make sure there's always a lead fiddler present. Players are, of course, welcome a couple of rounds on the house.

Join the Western Piedmont Symphony, the professional orchestra of the western foothills of North Carolina, for a vibrant musical journey through iconic show tunes and beloved American standards. Featuring the stunning vocals of soprano Haley Sicking, this concert celebrates the golden age of Broadway and the Great American Songbook with classics by Gershwin, Sondheim, Rodgers & Hammerstein, and more. From soaring ballads to toe-tapping favorites, it’s an evening of timeless melodies and unforgettable performances.

The Western Piedmont Symphony, the professional orchestra of the western foothills of North Carolina, presents a richly cinematic program spanning drama, romance, and exotic color. Highlights include Goldmark’s Overture to Sakuntala, Bizet’s L’Arlésienne Suite No. 1, Steiner’s sweeping Casablanca Suite, and Saint-Saëns’ evocative Piano Concerto No. 5, “Egyptian”. Acclaimed Canadian pianist Sheng Cai, known for his expressive depth and virtuosic command, brings international flair to this captivating concert experience.
