Sub-Pop Records, one of our favorite labels of innovative, edgy, indie-rock, isn’t known for venturing into the Americana genre. But they’ve found a gem in this one from Sera Cahoone. This is her sixth album, following nearly 30 years in the Seattle music scene and a time in Band of Horses. Tasteful pedal steel guitar and Cahoone’s sweet vocals adorn this beautiful mix exploring collective joy and resilient wisdom.
