TRIBUTE – a celebration of The Allman Brothers Band is a powerful 8 piece group that faithfully recreates the music of one of the finest bands of all time.
Since its founding in 2013, Atlanta-based TRIBUTE has earned a reputation as the source for the authentic ABB sound throughout the Southeast.
If the band has learned anything from performing these songs, it is the realization that even though The Allman Brothers Band has shut down, their music maintains the same power over people just as it did over 50 years ago. It is a phenomenon TRIBUTE gladly verifies every time they hit the stage.
With 10 sold out shows at City Winery, legendary performances at Variety Playhouse, The Fox Theatre’s 40th Anniversary Block Party, The House of Blues, and hundreds of great music rooms, theaters and festivals throughout the south, TRIBUTE has amassed a large and loyal following.
TRIBUTE recalls that unique period in American rock, when psychedelia ebbed and The ABB informed us what jazz, rock, country and blues could sound like. Comprised of musicians with decades of performance experience, the members of TRIBUTE bring their shared love of The Allman Brothers Band to life when it comes time for hittin’ the note.

The Rosen-Schaffel Competition for Young and Emerging Artists is a prestigious annual event dedicated to discovering and nurturing the talents of the next generation of classical musicians. Hosted in partnership with the Hayes School of Music at Appalachian State University, this competition invites promising young instrumentalists from across the nation to showcase their skills in a vibrant and supportive environment.
Participants compete for a chance to win generous cash prizes that support their musical careers. The competition features a panel of distinguished judges, including renowned musicians and educators, who provide invaluable feedback and mentorship to the contestants.
Named in honor of Mrs. Muriel Rosen and two of Mrs. Rosen’s family members, Nancy and Neil Schaffel, the Rosen-Schaffel Competition continues to uphold a legacy of excellence and artistic growth. This event is a cornerstone of Appalachian State University’s commitment to fostering the arts and providing exceptional opportunities for young musicians to achieve their dreams.
Join us each year in celebrating the extraordinary talent and dedication of these young artists as they embark on their musical journeys and inspire audiences with their performances.
Every first and Thursday of the month, we welcome all old time musicians to come hang out and play at Leveller! This is an intermediate level jam, and we'll make sure there's always a lead fiddler present. Players are, of course, welcome a couple of rounds on the house.
If you would like additional information, you are welcome to message us on Facebook or Instagram @LevellerBrewing.
