Community Calendar

Every first and third Saturday monthly from April through November, 11am to 5pm, we will be hosting our eclectic market featuring local goods and services, as well as, musicians and demos. This is a block party of sorts! Some items are, but not limited to, are handmade items, soaps, teas and coffees, vintage clothing, records and vintage media, jewelry, illustrations and graphic arts, toys, books, odds and ends, rare finds, oddities, and much more!

The Weirdo Arts & Community Flea Market is back in full effect starting May 2 11am-4pm, at Poe West Greenville! 556 Perry Ave. Sponsored by @sixandtwenty distillery! This will be our second year at the Poe West development in the Village Arts District of West Greenville. Every first Saturday of the month, May-December, (no market July) there will be over 75 unique local vendors of all types set up showcasing their items for sale. We will also have live music from fun local bands. And if you’re hungry, Fermetery Mobile Kitchen will be serving pizza, salads and pickles. (These are the same chefs that owned Carolina Bauernhaus, same delicious pizza you remember!) Grab a drink from Six & Twenty Distillery, Unlocked Coffee and grab a dessert from La Rue Chocolate! Comic Envy Celebrates Free Comic Book Day 2026

Free Comic Book Day is a national event celebrating our favorite medium, focused on building community, welcoming newcomers, and sharing great stories. Comic Envy, your friendly neighborhood comic shop, will be celebrating with special guests, exciting sales, and (most importantly) 5 free comics per person!

Prana Mela - 3 Days of Music, Community, and Yoga | May 1st - 3rd
Join us for Prana Mela, a three-day gathering devoted to music, wellness, and community at AyurPrana Listening Room.
Inspired by the spirit of connection and renewal, Prana Mela brings together live music, healing arts, nourishing food, and meaningful time together in a vibrant and welcoming setting.
Throughout the weekend, we’ll host three ticketed evening concerts:
Friday, May 1st, Simrit Acoustic Ensemble - 6PM
Friday, May 1st, Simrit Full Band Performance - 8PM
** SIMRIT will perform two events on May 1st: an Acoustic Ensemble Performance and an evening show. Please note each ticket before you purchase, to ensure you're purchasing the event you wish to attend **
Sunday, May 2nd, GurGanesha Band with Paloma Devi, 7PM
The weekend culminates with a Sunday Community Kirtan at noon, inviting everyone to come together in shared song and meditation.

Chef Sean from SoHum Mountain Healing Resort, who will offer a nourishing vegetarian based food pop-up with wellness mocktails and refreshments through lunch time and into the evening on Saturday, May 2nd.

In addition to the music, Prana Mela will feature certain donation based programming that will benefit WNC Nonprofit, Bounty & Soul.

The French Broad River Paddle Trip returns this spring as a collaboration between MountainTrue, Headwaters Outfitters, and Food for Adventures for an unforgettable 3-day float down the river in Transylvania County.

During this 32-mile trip, you’ll experience a beautiful section of river, learn about local stewardship, eat tasty food and drink local beer, camp under the stars, meet new friends, and come away with a new appreciation for this amazing place.

Registration includes boats (if you need), meals, drinks (including local beer!), campsites, shuttle, and a variety of entertainment. Guests will need to bring their own personal items and camping gear.
Proceeds will be split between the organizations.

Join us for Yoga Taco Mosa the first Sunday of every month.

This is a donation based slow flow class lead by the ever so lovely, Clare Desmelik.

Bring your yoga mat, water bottle and an open heart while we honor one another and stretch into our Sunday.

We’ll follow the class with tacos and mimosas at The Grey Eagle Taqueria.

The Greer Farmers Market is excited to invite the community back to Greer City park in 2026 for their 11th season in Greer.
Core Season: Each Sunday, 11AM-2PM, April 26-October 4.

Shop with over 40 farmers, makers, and bakers, plus live music, food trucks, and unique activities. Enjoy shopping under tree canopy at the 12-acre Greer City Park: featuring paved sidewalks, shuttle service from parking lots, bathrooms, sidewalks, open fields, stunning fountains, and a playground for kids. Food Programs: Greer Farmers Market is proud to be a SNAP Retailer and Healthy Bucks site. We have a Healthy Kids/POP Club Program where we offer produce vouchers and education for children at the market. We encourage anyone wanting to utilize these programs to join us during our market dates.

All year access to fresh local foods and community. The Greer Farmers Market has been an integral part of Downtown Greer since 2015. Our market serves a diverse shopper base consisting of young families, professionals, and seniors. The Greer Farmers Market is a non-profit 501c3 farmers market in the State of South Carolina. Our mission is to support local farmers, bakers, and hand-made businesses by providing an accessible platform to sell in-season items directly to Greer’s residents and visitors.

Glitter, glam, and giving back? The award-winning Bearded Lady Productions team returns to New Belgium Brewing on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m for a free community show. Expect big performances, bigger hair, and the biggest personalities—all served with a side of sparkle. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on-site. Mel and Gena offer a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else in Asheville. All cake decorating tools are provided, including a box and a bag to take your design home.
