COME JAM ON TUESDAYS!
Fireforge's Open Bluegrass Acoustic Jam with hosts Matt Purinton and Sam Kruer is every Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:30 pm! Everyone with an acoustic instrument is welcome to play. Come jam or listen and request tunes! It’s going to be a ton of picking and grinning . See you there!

MEET THE HOSTS
Matt and Sam are both veterans of the Greenville music scene. While both are steeped in bluegrass, they’re versatile in their ability to play many styles. Matt’s fiery mandolin playing and Sam’s rock solid bass grooves enable them to make an exciting bluegrass sound that you’ll want to rock with!

The Jazz Showcase is curated by esteemed pianist, scholar, and UNC Asheville music professor Dr. Bill Bares; this showcase series is dedicated to bringing the region’s finest jazz musicians and most compelling sounds to our stage in a true listening room experience.

All throughout September, guests are invited to join the mountain’s naturalists as they count and celebrate the annual spectacle of fall raptor migration. Participants can observe the migration from viewing locations on Linville Peak (across the Mile High Swinging Bridge) and Half Moon Overlook (the first major overlook when entering the park). Included with admission.

Challenge yourself while drinking beer! Teams of up to 6 can compete for fantastic prizes. Join us in the taproom every Wednesday from 7-9. Bring a phone!

MTN VIBEZ Presents Latin Night every Wednesday. Dance Lessons 8:30-9 PM-All Skill Levels and All Latin Genres-Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton. Open dance is from 9 pm-midnight.

One of the world’s first arbornauts, CanopyMeg devoted over four decades to exploring forest canopies. Her research and exploration have taken her to more than 45 countries, on all seven continents, where she not only tirelessly saves forests but also mentors girls. Lowman’s Oct. 1 presentation is titled “In Honor of Jane Goodall – How Trees Keep our Planet and its Wildlife Healthy.” Mission Green is a global project to conserve the world’s most important forests by building canopy walkways. These walkways not only educate the public about the amazing 8th continent otherwise known as the treetops, but they sustainably employ indigenous women via ecotourism, and offer students access to forest canopies to make new discoveries. Speaker CanopyMeg Lowman pioneered the construction of canopy walkways that now bring economic incentives to forest conservation around the world. She will talk about Mission Green, and the importance of both forest conservation, plus linking kids to nature via the treetops and her friend Jane. Tickets go on sale online for this event at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 31.

It is free to attend and open to all ages. After you’ve visited, hop over to other open galleries and restaurants in the West Village or Downtown Greenville!

- There will be no Nightshifts during the month of August as we will be combining it with Art Bash and Annual Showcase held on the 1st of the month.
- Nightshifts in November will be held on the 13th (the second Friday of the month & the week after our annual fundraiser).
