Nashville-based Jillette Johnson released a beautifully produced album “It’s a Beautiful Day and I Love You” earlier this year, which might conjure up the “Globe Sessions” release from Sheryl Crow. It’s got a clever balance of cynicism and optimism, jealousy and gratitude. Her trio opens up for Houndmouth at the Orange Peel in Asheville on Thursday, and they pay us a visit en route.
