Unity Healing Center in Cherokee is a rehabilitation center for Native American youth run by the Indian Health Service.

Reporter, Holly Kays, with Smoky Mountain News, made a return to “More to the Story” to discuss her story about sexual abuse claims at a teen rehab center in Cherokee and its aftermath. The employee that was investigated at the center was a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. This edition first aired on June 22, 2022.
