The Weirdo Arts & Community Flea Market is back in full effect starting May 2 11am-4pm, at Poe West Greenville! 556 Perry Ave. Sponsored by @sixandtwenty distillery! This will be our second year at the Poe West development in the Village Arts District of West Greenville. Every first Saturday of the month, May-December, (no market July) there will be over 75 unique local vendors of all types set up showcasing their items for sale. We will also have live music from fun local bands. And if you’re hungry, Fermetery Mobile Kitchen will be serving pizza, salads and pickles. (These are the same chefs that owned Carolina Bauernhaus, same delicious pizza you remember!) Grab a drink from Six & Twenty Distillery, Unlocked Coffee and grab a dessert from La Rue Chocolate! Northeast State Community College welcomes the Darrell Scott Electrifying Trio, which features Bryn Davies and Jeff Sipe, to perform on Friday, October 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the Ballad Health Center for the Performing Arts Theater on the Blountville campus, 2425 Highway 75. Scott’s albums include Family Tree, Theatre of the Unheard, Live at the Station Inn, and Jaroso, A four-time Grammy nominee for songwriting, Scott has recorded with Steve Earle, Joan Baez, Jim Lauderdale, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and Ginny Hawker, among others. Opening for the show is Bristol-based artist Anthony Childress joined by Blake Collins.

The performance is sponsored by the Northeast State Community College Foundation and will benefit the Entertainment Technology and Economic and Workforce Development student programs. Tickets are General Admission seating. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.

Join Us! --- Our WNC MS Support Group invites individuals with MS, families, friends and other care partners to share common experiences and concerns, provide and receive emotional support, and obtain information related to Multiple Sclerosis. We learn about various aspects of living and coping with MS.
Our group is led by a person affected by MS. All groups are free of charge.
