Northeast State Community College welcomes the Darrell Scott Electrifying Trio, which features Bryn Davies and Jeff Sipe, to perform on Friday, October 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the Ballad Health Center for the Performing Arts Theater on the Blountville campus, 2425 Highway 75. Scott’s albums include Family Tree, Theatre of the Unheard, Live at the Station Inn, and Jaroso, A four-time Grammy nominee for songwriting, Scott has recorded with Steve Earle, Joan Baez, Jim Lauderdale, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and Ginny Hawker, among others. Opening for the show is Bristol-based artist Anthony Childress joined by Blake Collins.

The performance is sponsored by the Northeast State Community College Foundation and will benefit the Entertainment Technology and Economic and Workforce Development student programs. Tickets are General Admission seating. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.
