MARSHALL, NC — Get ready for a showdown like no other. On Saturday, January 10, Mal’s Bar in downtown Marshall hosts MAW (Mamas of Arm Wrestling): Brawl for the Thaw, an electrifying night of arm wrestling and entertainment for a great cause.
The event features exhibition-style matches with MAW pros, the return of fan-favorite competitors, and qualifying amateur matches. All door proceeds will support heating assistance for clients of the Community Housing Coalition of Madison County, helping local neighbors stay warm through fuel support and heating system repairs.
Doors open at 5:00 PM with the first match at 6:00 PM sharp.

General admission is $30 at the door (first come, first served).
Cheer on the return of MAW tournament winner Queenpin, and catch exhibition matches featuring crowd favorites Cuntry Dumplin, Korn Chowder, Phoenix Faucet, and Thunder Thighs.
The night will be emceed by Jared Ericksen, with Morgan Diep—MAW organizer and co-founder of Yes Mam: Artist Collective—serving as referee and ring authority. Entertainment also includes Glenn the Magician, a return appearance by the wildly popular Fruit Smashers, and music from DJ Amos, spinning walk-out anthems all night long.
