“Girl Climber” Director and Filmmaker, Jon Glassberg will be present to introduce his film Girl Climber and participate in a short panel on the convergence of climbing, recreation, conservation, and community. Jon lived, and climbed, in Boone from 2002 – 2009 and graduated with two degrees from Appalachian State University.
Jon Glassberg is an American documentary and adventure filmmaker. He works as a director, cinematographer, and producer. Starting from his roots as a professional climber, Jon has ventured globally to capture historical moments in outdoor sports with the industry's biggest names. His production company, Louder Than 11, documents authentic stories in extreme environments around the world.
