Free Planet Radio is a dynamic and genre-defying band that blends elements of jazz, world music, and improvisation into a gorgeous and exciting musical experience. Comprising of world-renowned musicians, River Guerguerian on percussion and Chris Rosser on piano and multi-instruments, they are known for their rich and textured soundscapes, intricate rhythms, and virtuosic instrumentation. The band always aims to transport listeners on a captivating musical journey, “exploring the infinite and seamless relationships between musical cultures through the universal language of sound.”
Aparna Keshaviah is an American-born daughter of south Indian immigrants. She grew up training in the ancient artform of Indian classical dance as well as contemporary Western modalities of movement. As a movement artist, she celebrates both her family’s ancestral roots and her experience as an American, through hybridization and innovation.
