Three longtime friends in the Asheville music scene, Mary Ellen Davis (Ménage, The Swayback Sisters), Amanda Anne Platt (The Honeycutters, Cowboy Judy), and Evan Martin (Floating Action, The Honeycutters), decided that the best way to make time to see each other was to start a band. And so they did. Building a set list of songs from their favorite artists, Working Holiday plays classic country, blues, classic rock, motown, old time, and whatever else they feel like. With Davis on upright bass, Platt on acoustic guitar, and Martin on electric, the three friends trade off lead and harmony vocals for a show that is fun, laid back, and sure to have you singing along.
