A.T. and Lauren Cason are lifelong musicians who perform original American folk and blues songs that harken back to the roots music of the American South as well as the 1960s Folk Revival artists of NYC’s Greenwich Village. It’s Simon & Garfunkel mixed with early Dylan, with a touch of Leonard Cohen and a helping of true Piedmont blues fingerstyle guitar from North Carolina.

Just back from an impressive two-year stint living, recording, and touring throughout England, Songs of the Folk is happy to be sharing their original songs and stories with audiences throughout the Southeast. Known for impressive fingerstyle guitar playing as well as entrancing harmonies and warm stage presence, the duo thrives in listening room venues where audiences leave feeling like an old friend of the Casons and a part of Songs of the Folk.
