Raquy and the Cavemen is a musical duo of dynamic drummers and multi-instrumentalists. They bring hard rock energy to the mystical rhythms of the Middle East. While classically trained and culturally immersed in various folk traditions, they famously push boundaries and innovate, fusing different musical genres and even different musical instruments to create a wholly unique sound.

They’ll be sharing the stage with Asheville’s own esteemed global fusion duo, Free Planet Radio, who transport listeners with an exploration of the infinite and seamless relationships between musical cultures through the universal language of sound.

There will also be an art exhibit of Raquy Danziger’s original paintings in the stylization of the Arabic “Illumination” tradition, with pieces for sale in the venue lobby.
