Don’t miss the Oct. 13 opening of the final segment of Preserving a Picturesque America’s (PAPA’s) Art Exhition and Sale. It features amazing works by local artists of such iconic places as Mountain Island, The French Broad, Old Mill at Reems Creek, and Team on the French Broad. The free show runs through Oct. 27 in the Cloud Room at the Wedge at Foundation, 5 Foundy Street, Asheville. The opening reception will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Proceeds from the sale of artwork will contribute to the conservation efforts of such organizations as Riverlink, Asheville Greenworks, MountainTrue, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, Friends of Pisgah National Forest, and Friends of Chimney Rock State Park. The final “Meet the Adventure Artists” Q&A session is slated for Oct. 20, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at the Wedge at Foundation.
