New Window Gallery presents artwork created by Rodger Revlon March 04-28n 2022. Rodger Revlon was born in San Angelo TX and was raised in Beavercreek Ohio. Family ties brought him to Drexel NC and then to Valdese, NC where he now resides. Rodger is a fan of the accidental approach to creating music and art. Rodger was a co-founding member of the Dayton Ohio industrial music group Dementia Precox in the early 1980's. Rodger uses a computer and scanner to change the contrast, deepen colors and manipulate his original images. The result is a kaleidoscope effect. Rodger's abstract acrylic collages are made with recycled paper glued to a canvas. New Window Gallery is located at 150 W Main St. Valdese NC. The gallery is part of the Play It Again Records Building. The two large gallery windows are lit 24 hrs. a day and can be seen from the curb!
