Two day natural fiber dyeing workshop 9/25 - 9/26 9 to 4 each day at Grove Hill Farm in Old Fort NC, a NC designated century old farm. Sandra King from Baliruan Ireland, owner of Irish Fibre Crafter will be teaching the workshop on natural dyeing techniques using flowers, leaves, mosses, barks - natural plant materials found in our gardens and forests. We will harvest flowers from the lovely gardens at Grove Hill and scour the virgin forest of the farm for dyeing materials. A light breakfast will be served, pack a lunch. You'll also be able to visit with the fiber animals on the farm and take a dip in the lake if it gets too warm during the workshop. It will be a lot of fun! Come join us!
