Jam 4 JAM Benefit Concert w/ JAM Students, Pretty Little Goat and The Pisgah Pickers - July 1

Jam 4 JAM Benefit Concert w/ JAM Students, Pretty Little Goat and The Pisgah Pickers - July 1
We are beyond grateful to live in a county that has such a strong commitment to educating the next generation of musicians and keeping the rich Appalachian culture of music alive. The Junior Appalachian Musician (JAM) program envisions a world in which all children have the opportunity to experience community through the joy of participating in traditional mountain music together. Their mission is to provide communities with the tools and support they need to teach children to play and dance to traditional old time and bluegrass music. They believe that children who are actively engaged in traditional mountain music are more connected and better prepared to strengthen their communities for future generations. Jam 4 JAM is an annual benefit concert where the bluegrass greats of our community come to play to raise awareness and funds for the program. Not only are these musicians volunteering their time, a lot of them are active teachers and mentors within the JAM program.
This years benefit will be held on Monday, July 1st. We will kick the evening off with a showcase of current Jam students at 5:30. Pretty Little Goat will play at 6:15 and the Pisgah Pickers (Woody Platt, Mike Guggino, Mike Ashworth, Bennett Sullivan and Travis Book) will finish the night off.
All ticket proceeds will go to The Junior Appalachian Musicians of Transylvania County and there will also be a silent auction.
Table seating is very limited for this show but there is plenty of general admission space available. The indoor space behind the seated area is available for standing room and the backyard has extra seating available. You may bring a lawn chair for the backyard area. The show will go on, rain or shine.
