SPARTANBURG, S.C. — The Downtown Spartanburg Sertoma Club is excited to announce the highly
anticipated Hub City Chili Cook-off, a weekend-long celebration of culinary creativity and charitable
giving. The event will take place at Barnet Park in Downtown Spartanburg, featuring professional and
amateur chili cook-offs, live music and a variety of family-friendly activities.

Date: Sunday, October 13
Time: 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM

The Hub City Chili Cook-off is an International Chili Society (ICS) sanctioned event. The ICS is renowned
for founding and operating the World Championship Chili Cook-Off® (WCCC), held annually each fall.
This prestigious affiliation ensures that attendees will experience top-tier chili creations from both
seasoned chefs and passionate amateurs.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the event will feature live performances by local bands including:
Back 9, The Millwrites, Cross-eyed Betty, Monkey Hill

Since its founding in 1956, the Downtown Spartanburg Sertoma Club has been dedicated to raising
funds for children’s charities in the Spartanburg area. Over the past decade alone, the club has donated
