Grupo los Santos is a lively, funky, rootsy, weirdly eclectic jam band from New York City.
This quartet pulls equally from traditions of jazz, rock, funk, Afro-Cuban, Afro-Brazilian, and beyond. Formed in 1998, Grupo los Santos consists of electric guitar, electric bass, drums, and tap dance/body percussion, often augmented with Afro-Cuban batá drums. They have toured all over Europe and the United States and are currently releasing their fourth album, Santos 4.
