Come join us for an exciting full-day tree workshop with Naturalist Luke Learningdeer Cannon. We’ll spend the day exploring the magnificent trees of our Southern Appalachian forests. Focus topics include tree identification; edible, medicinal and crafts uses; ecological connections; folklore and more! Along with story telling, wild knowledge, and a knack for making learning fun, Luke utilizes a forest-full of experiential techniques to help build lasting relationships to the natural world and each other. Participants can prepare to have an awesome day by bringing a satisfying lunch and snacks, plenty of water, comfortable clothing, sun protection and hiking shoes.
