The Black Mountain Center for the Arts (BMCA) is set to host a soulful weekend of Jewish diasporic music featuring the acclaimed trio A Glezele Tey. On Friday, April 24, at 7:30 PM, the ensemble will perform an intimate concert designed to evoke the "warmth of a living room." Based in Massachusetts and New York, the group—consisting of Ariel Shapiro on accordion, Rachel Leader on fiddle, and world-renowned percussionist Richie Barshay—blends traditional Klezmer with Yiddish folk songs.
