The Organic Growers School of Western North Carolina is has a program called Farm Beginnings that helps people learn about the art of farming. Many skills are required to start and expand a successful farm business: passion, clear goals, production experience, financial and marketing know-how, and more. Farm Beginnings helps people build these skills through one year of farmer-led training, mentoring, and networking. Nicole Delcogliano, Farm Beginnings Coordinator, was a guest on this Friday Feature Interview of the Week from May 29, 2020.
