We can say with relative certainty that Dangermuffin is the sweetest vegan rock band from Charleston/Folly Beach, SC we know. They have a genuine compassion for all beings, which they express in many layered ways through their songwriting. From a song inspired by a Cherokee creation myth ("Ancient Golden Star"), to the use of chords and frequencies intended to facilitate sound healing within the human body, the three members live their vision of giving back to the universe through their art and their day-to-day lifestyles. As a touring regional rock band, they work as hard as anyone you know, crisscrossing the Carolinas and beyond, and they've done a great job putting that wonderful corner of our country on the musical map.
Turns out singer/songwriter Dan Lotti has now moved here to Western NC, while Mike Sivilli and Steven Sandifer remain down there, so we're sure to see them more and more.
