Formed in 2024, Red Camel Collective derived their name from the song "The Man In Red Camels" written by Timmy Massey and Rick Pardue. Red Camels are a vintage clothing brand best known for their iconic overalls. This name reflects the band's dedication to tradition, authenticity, and timeless style. Recently, they’ve been nominated in 3 IBMA award categories: Vocal Group, Song Of The Year and Female Vocalist, after winning IBMA New Artist of the Year Award in 2025. They’re playing Mountain Heritage Days in Cullowhee on Saturday the 26th.

Admiral Radio, an award-winning folk/Americana act from South Carolina, is the creative partnership of Coty Hoover and Becca Smith. Named after their old wooden radio, this husband-and-wife team met while waiting tables in South Carolina’s Lowcountry. Inspired by the everyday, their songs explore life lessons, the quiet hustle of ordinary life, and the dogged optimism that drives it all. They have a string of upcoming shows in our area, beginning Tuesday in Studio B!

Jay Buchanan is just as comfortable singing with Jason Isbell or The Bee Gees, Miranda Lambert, Massive Attack, The Bloody Beetroots, or Brandi Carlile as with the arena rock band he is usually known for. His voice remains his signature instrument: powerful, earthen, and impossibly expressive, a gritty echo of the California mountains themselves. He’ll be in our area for a show at Revival Asheville on Tuesday the 22nd, after a live session here with Alex.
