Join Story Parlor for the final iteration of its summer Story/Arts Residency, welcoming local artist Carolina Quiroga for a month-long exploration of myth and archetype.

For this final night of the 2024 Residency, artist-in-residence Carolina Quiroga will delve into captivating tales of individuals who have undergone incredible transformations in the face of great challenge. Often defined by their extraordinary honor and sacrifice, the evening will explore the cultural idolization of heroes, the role of villains and anti-heroes, and ways to breathe new life into the mythology of heroism.

The Mythology of Heroes and Villains will feature stories by artist-in-residence, Carolina Quiroga, along with a guest performances from Alli Marshall.

For the second portion of the evening, audience members will be invited to reflect and share in a communal storytelling circle. (Sharing is completely optional!)
