On Thursday, August 5, the Sierra Club presents Dave Erb, an automotive engineer and professor, who will tell us what’s new in the electric vehicle market and why now might be the time for you to get one. The event will be held over Zoom from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. It is free and open to the public. A local “guru” on electric vehicles, Erb spent his 40-year automotive engineering career focused on energy and emissions. He developed vehicles using gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, alcohol, natural gas, electric, and hybrid electric powertrains.
