When disaster strikes, your priorities change. In light of the Hurricane Helene we are pivoting this show to serve maximum potential in joining efforts to help our community on the national scale. We are close to selling out our home town venue, so we are going to live stream this show in an effort to bring it to more people and raise funds for Hurricane Helene Relief. Grammy Award Winning Bluegrass Artist Woody Platt has always found a home in music and in the water. He has been blessed with the opportunity to successfully follow his passion for music and being a champion for the rivers and streams of Western North Carolina.

A founding member of Steep Canyon Rangers, Woody has won numerous awards collaborating with the likes of Steve Martin, Del McCoury, and Jerry Douglas. In 2018, Woody and the Rangers were inducted to the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame.

Woody Platt has been busy working on a solo album entitled Far Away With You coming out via Compass Records on October 11th - and is excited to share it with his hometown first. His band will be made up of Daren Shumaker on mandolin, Buddy Melton on Bass, Bennett Sullivan on Banjo, & Casey Driessen on fiddle. In addition, special guests who have contributed to the album will be joining him throughout the evening.
