A Live-Stream Music Concert Series Performed in ReClaim Madison

MARSHALL, NC, August 1, 2024 - ReClaim Madison Salvage & Thrift in Marshall, NC, will host a series of six live-stream concerts from August 2024 to January 2025, with one concert each month.

This concert series aims to connect viewers with ReClaim Madison and support the mission of the Community Housing Coalition (CHC) of Madison County, NC. Local musicians have generously volunteered their talents to benefit CHC and encourage more shopping and donations to ReClaim Madison.
The first concert features Madison County’s own Pierce Edens, performing on Friday, August 16th at 3pm. The event will be live-streamed on ReClaim Madison’s Instagram and Facebook accounts and broadcast live on WART FM radio in Madison County. All concerts will be archived for later viewing on the YouTube channel, ReClaim Madison Thrifty Concerts. There will be no live audience but the store will be open during the live-stream experience. If you happen to stop by to shop, you may catch some tunes too.
The schedule for upcoming concerts includes 75 Single Wide on September 20th at 3 PM, Pleasure Chest on October 11th at 3 PM, and Mountain, Mountain, Mountain Boys on November 22nd at 3 PM. Future dates and performers will be announced as they are confirmed.
ReClaim Madison is thrilled to showcase local musicians and highlight the store. Tune in and donate to support the home repair programs of CHC of Madison County.

The mission of CHC is to promote and facilitate healthy, safe, and affordable housing through advocacy, education, and resource development. It facilitates urgent home repairs, rehabilitation, and new construction affordable replacement housing for low-income Madison County residents by leveraging grant funding, direct public contributions, and thousands of volunteers to support and empower them to remain in their homes. For over 20 years, CHC has served over 150 neighbors annually with needs assessments, accessibility improvements, roofs, flooring, electrical, heating, and well/septic systems, and other major repairs that impact their health and safety.
 
CHC operates ReClaim Madison Salvage & Thrift, a social enterprise offering used furniture and appliances and salvage building materials. By keeping dollars local, providing affordable building materials, and opportunities for community engagement through volunteer opportunities and community events, such as the ReClaim Madison Thrifty Concerts, ReClaim Madison is a valued community resource.
