Robyn has also resided in New Orleans LA. Robyn Smiley captures many "Moments", "Memories" and "Images" with her cameras. Her work is on display FEB 04-28 2022 and is an open scrapbook of pictures; many revealing the beauty of nature, human emotions, and others documenting important moments in her life! Robyn also studies photo restoration. Robyn has been writing songs since she was a child ….. with her 1st song published at the age of 15 in 1975. She has multiple independent album releases. She was formerly the lead singer for “The Marauder Band” in Pensacola, Florida in the 80’s. Robyn then went to New Orleans where she was a well known street musician and had her own band “Robyn Smiley and Sapphire Bluz ” in the 90's . Robyn moved back to her hometown of Dayton Ohio after Katrina. She continues to be a preforming artist. New Window Gallery is located at 150 W Main St. Valdese NC. The gallery is part of the Play It Again Records Building. The two large gallery windows are lit 24 hrs. a day and can be seen from the curb!
