Art Exhibit: Logolepsy-an obsession with words
“LOGOLEPSY: An obsession with words” will feature artwork by Jenna Bailey, and will be on display starting August 6, 2021 through September 24, 2021 (open Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm, free to the public). Jenna Bailey is a local artist and art teacher at Hibriten High School in Lenoir, NC. She graduated from UNC Greensboro in 2009 with a BFA in Art Education and a concentration in painting. She has taught high school level art for 11 years in Wilkes and Caldwell counties, but she is originally from Gastonia, NC. Jenna enjoys working in a variety of mediums including watercolor, oil, encaustic, printmaking, and ceramics. Her artwork focuses on imagery of graceful female portraits and natural elements, like plants and wildlife. Her artwork creates tranquil moods through the use of soft, muted colors, patterns, and layered imagery.
