The cellist, vocalist, and pianist for The Lumineers is currently on tour for her solo project Rattlesnake, about an eccentric Colorado sharpshooter who had a run-in with rattlesnakes in the 1920's. A self-described "super-nerd", Neyla says “Even in my introduction to the Lumineers, I had listened to so little mainstream music at that point in my life. I was really into musical theater and vocal jazz and things that weren’t necessarily cool. I’ve definitely felt like an impostor most of the time." She'll be in good company with us here! She plays The Grey Eagle on Wednesday, then visits with Martin Thursday morning before heading to Nashville.
