MountainTrue Spring Wildflower Hike near Shelby, NC - 4/12

MountainTrue Spring Wildflower Hike near Shelby, NC - 4/12

Join our MountainTrue Public Lands Field Biologist, Josh Kelly, and Broad Riverkeeper, David Caldwell, as we explore the downstream trail at our Broad River Greenway. David will discuss the value and concerns associated with the Broad River, while Josh informs us all about the flowers, plants and animals we find there.

Meeting location is the Broad River Greenway main parking lot beside the Ranger Station and bathrooms at 10:30 sharp.

This out and back hike is approximately 5 miles with almost no elevation change, although the terrain is rugged. Children are welcome on this hike if they can hike 5 miles.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire duration of the hike.

While we love our furry friends, please no dogs on this hike.
