Two of our favorite albums of the last couple years have been from Chapel Hill's Sarah Shook: 2017 Sidelong, and 2018's Years. If you can imagine someone inspired most by the Sex Pistols, Hank Williams, Nikki Lane, & Elliott Smith, that's Sarah and her band. They play the Grey Eagle in Asheville on Thursday night.
