One of Charlotte's latest sounds is the funk/jazz/rock combo Funk Rush, who live their motto of "Jazz is the teacher, Funk is the preacher!" Scott Newell-guitar, Reggie Dennis-bass, Donte Forsythe-drums, Robert Beasley-percussion. They play Greenville Thursday night after their live radio debut on WNCW.
