Vermont native Caitlin Canty won the Troubadour songwriting competition at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and her song, “Get Up,” was nominated for Song of the Year in the Folk Alliance International Music Awards. She's kicking off an inaugural "Americana Tour Blueprint" presented by the Americana Music Association, that takes her to Charlotte on Tuesday and West Asheville on Wednesday (and a few lucky stations like WNCW.)
