Join Joe Kendrick on ARC Overnight next Tuesday night, September 4th during Rob Daves' show. He will interview Jay Sanders of Asheville's E. Normus Trio, upon the release of his new album of all-original jazz, Love & Barbiturates.
Jay, well known for his work in Acoustic Syndicate, plays the 8-string N/S Stick Guitar/Bass in the group alongside Mars Hill College's Steve Alford on alto, bass & contrabass clarinets and Michael W. Davis (of The Broadcast) on drums.
Jay talks about his new album of free and forward-thinking music, recorded at Echo Mountain Recording Studios in Asheville. He also discusses his band mates, how their intense brand of music can be interpreted, and will play a song or two from the record that is riding high on the ARC Overnight charts.
