Joe Kendrick will be on the air this Wednesday, June 24 between 12-3pm. He will welcome back to WNCW Daniel Coston, a photographer and writer from Charlotte, in the noon hour.
Daniel will talk about and feature music from NC & SC rock bands from the late 1960s as they lead up to their reunion show that weekend. This reunion show is the 3rd Annual Charlotte 60s Rock & Roll Reunion. It will be held at the Neighborhood Theatre on June 27th, with many bands coming together for the first time in more than forty years. Mannish Boys, Jim Charles, Mod VI, The Bondsmen, and the Kinksmen are slated to perform. Daniel Coston will MC the show, and also perform with the Mannish Boys.
