Thursday 1/29 at 2pm: TRIO GUGGINO

You know mandolinist Mike Guggino and violinist Nicky Sanders from the Steep Canyon Rangers, and Barrett Smith from his beautiful collaborations with Shannon Whitworth....but do you know their Italian cousins? Their Italian trio performances, that is. They perform songs from the Italian folk, art song, and operatic literature that typify the joyful, romantic, passionate nature of Italian culture. Thursday evening they perform in the Isis Restaurant & Music Hall in West Asheville, where Chef Mike will also pair their music with food and wine from the Tuscany region.
