RNC Charlotte NC

Originally aired June 10, 2020 - Steve Harrison with WFAE Public Radio, an NPR affiliate in Charlotte, NC, was guest of this segment of 'More To The Story.' Harrison recapped how some of the protests in downtown Charlotte, related to the death of George Floyd, had brought forth both peaceful and chaotic moments involving police.  The second part of the conversation centered on Charlotte losing out on hosting this year's Republican National Convention due to COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions in North Carolina.

WNCW had the opportunity to again connect with WFAE Public Radio, Charlotte and Reporter Steve Harrison about the latest involving District 9, which has received national attention in the past for voter fraud and feelings about next year's Republican National Convention.  This includes the candidates set to face off in November in District 9 and fundraising on both sides of the ticket, Democrat and Republican.  The interview first aired August 7, 2019.
