Political Reporter Steve Harrison with WFAE Public Radio in Charlotte, NC returned for a new segment of WNCW's 'More to the Story' on April 22, 2020.  The conversation revolved around protests in Raleigh, NC by the group "Reopen North Carolina." The protesters are disatisfied with measures put in place by NC Governor Roy Cooper due to closings related to COVID-19. Other topics discussed: Can Charlotte still pull off August's Republican National Convention; and Mecklenburg County Commissioners split on county's coronavirus measures.

Husband and wife duo Natalya Weinstein and John Miller take their middle names front and center with Zoe & Cloyd, and have added Bennett Sullivan on banjo and guitar and Kevin Kehrberg on bass. They released I Am Your Neighbor on Organic Records soon after our time together at the 2019 IBMA. WNCW will broadcast live from The Pour House Music Hall in Raleigh, NC for one of this year's Bluegrass Ramble showcases at the International Bluegrass Music Association's World of Bluegrass Festival. Among the acts scheduled: The Barefoot Movement, Darin & Brooke Aldridge, and the Po' Ramblin' Boys, who are expected to be joined by a number of familiar guests! Expect many of these acts to announce that they'll be at the Inaugural Earl Scruggs Music Festival coming to the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, NC over Labor Day Weekend 2020!
