We had a great time taking these images in Studio B while hanging with the band Yellow Feather. The group calls Old Fort, North Carolina home. It's a small town located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just eat of Asheville, NC. We were fortunate to share this LIVE Studio B Session with our listeners earlier this year. And, we've also been able to feature one of the Country/Americana band's songs, "Lucille" on our new Crowd Around The Mic CD Volume 22.

The small town of Old Fort is the location of the Mountain Gateway Museum, Catawba Falls, and Andrews Geyser - plus it's home base for the band Yellow Feather... and their couch farm! They recently played live for us in Studio B, and you'll hear that session (and find out what a couch farm is) on this week's Studio B Rewind. Also, Appalachian Mountain music meets Japan in the beautiful, unique work of Anya Hinkle, Akira Satake, and Duncan Wickel. (Yellow Feather top image. Hinkle/Satake/Wickel bottom photo.) Join Host Kim Clark Sunday evenings at 7pm on Studio B Rewind.
