WNCW Program Director Joe Kendrick is back with his popular podcast On The Way Up. Each episode features some of the best tunes that are either fresh out of the shrink wrap, or just making their way into the hearts of WNCW listeners. Kendrick said in this episode, we'll go back and look at some of the songs that were played the most on WNCW for the first ten months of 2018. "We are almost set to begin voting for the top releases of the year in making our top 100," said Kendrick. "That voting will begin after Thanksgiving.

In this episode, we get to a couple of great regional releases, dive into the latest from one of our all-time favorites in Marty Stuart, plus get an ear for the return of iconic indie band The Feelies, and we’ll go back to the early 1970s for a big hit on our “Segue Of The Week”. 06/18/13: We are back home! After a long day of travel Monday, we returned safe and sound with smiles on our faces and the past weekend's adventures still in our minds.

Sunday morning we awoke to flood watches after a night of heavy rain. There was standing water all over the festival grounds and more rain on the way. We packed our belongings and walked about half a mile to the point where shuttles picked up folks to return them to their parking lot at a nearby hotel.
