"It's certainly not unusual for us to have a blues band in our studio, and it's not unheard of for us to have a one-man band play live for us either, said Kim Clark. "It is, however, unusual for us to host a one-man blues band that features Tuvan throat singing, a suitcase used as a bass drum, with a box of bones and silverware, a baby shoe hitting a gas can, a circular saw blade, and a cook pot. But that's exactly what we were treated to in Studio B when the Suitcase Junket played live for us back in May." You'll hear that session on the next Studio B Rewind plus a session with Virginia Americana band the Steel Wheels, who were here recently to perform songs from their new album Over the Trees. From their base in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains, The Steel Wheels have played the most prestigious festivals, listening rooms, and clubs in the world, earning a reputation as one of the top independent bands on the scene today! We were happy to welcome all of these musicians to Studio B and we're always glad to give you a chance to revisit, rewind and relax on Sunday with Studio B Rewind.
